Model Number The water dispenser works fine, filter is new, I have removed the ice maker, the hoses are not frozen and there is no water in the ice maker. How do i test the water valve and can i force a cycle.

I read somewhere you can jump some wires to force an ice cycle. Does anyone have a diag manual or wiring diagram?? SORRY the model is Ok here is your exact tech sheet.

This refrigerator maybe similar to this manual! Related to this! Thanks bigbuck! OK thanks I will ck back tomorow. The ice maker will fill with water per the fill test and will do a harvest cycle for the ice maker harvest test.

Where do i go from here. Do i need to replace the ice maker, reset error code or rehome the motor somehow Thank You. You must log in or register to reply here.

I'm attaching the information from the owner's manual, for this pad. If the icemaker is not making any ice at all, this pad will not make a difference, unless the temperature in the freezer is, above 10 degrees. This will usually be a problem with the icemaker itself, the water valve or the optic boards.

If there is no water in the icemaker, it can be manually checked at the module, to help determine the problem. To access the icemaker module, pull the front cover off of the icemaker and you will see the module. There will be some test terminals on the module and they will be marked see picture.

Now use a well insulated jumper and place it between the L - V terminals. Be careful this is a hot live check. With the jumper in place, water should now flow to the icemaker. If it does flow, the icemaker will need to be replaced. If no water flows but you can hear a humming noise, the water valve will need to be replaced. If nothing at all happens, some voltage checks will need to be made. A technician may be needed to make these checks. If you need more assistance, please resubmit your question, with additional details.
